It’s official…

After a few frustrating moments having to resubmit some of the forms, we are delighted to announce the official name of Intuition…drum roll, please… Intuition V. We had to pick 3 names thus adding a roman letter seemed a better option than coming up with different names. We chose V (#5) because of the special meaning that has for us, want to know?

Here it goes:

• If we recall correctly, we met for the first time when I (Lenka) was 5 years old (story for another post).
• We had our first date on the 5^th day of December.
• We married on the 5^th day of April in the course of our 5^th year of dating and this year (2015) we’ll celebrate our 25^th wedding anniversary.
• We immigrated to Canada after 5 years of planning.
• Our sons were born on the 5^th month.
• The numbers on the license plate of both of our cars added equal 5.
• Our house number starts with 5.
• We also have 5 on all our telephone numbers, postal code, and even my name and last name have 5 letters each.
• This is our 5^th year owning Intuition.

This is pretty cool so far, don’t you think?

We contacted Industry Canada to update our MMSI number (“coincidentally” also has a number 5) with the new vessel name.

All that is left are steps 3 and 4.
