Spring ready…

DSCF2056Every season has its “getting ready stages” for us. Now that we are officially in Spring, spirits are in high gear to get Intuition V ready for another sailing season.

Taking the tarp off is my favorite part! Thus we always wait until the end of April for any unexpected snow or even longer if we are doing any work that needs protection from the rain or sun.DSCF0163

We are prioritizing jobs by “before we launch day”, “must be done at the dock” and “either way” (at the dock or on the hard). All of them are contingent on the weather and temperature, thus a dry and warm spring is highly desired!

At home Hector is working on the outboard engine for the dinghy (a gift from a good friend, thanks Roy).

We’ll keep documenting our progress.

Hurray, Spring is here!
